I love the action of live music photography, especially at festivals – the challenge of capturing key moments that symbolise the ‘whole’. Shooting from the audience gives different perspectives than what we often see from photographers in the ‘pit’, as fantastic as many of those shots may be. It also provides opportunities to capture crowd involvement and the great work of the lighting people.
